1. Overview
We understand that circumstances change, and we've designed our refund policy to be fair and transparent. The applicability of refunds depends on the type of service or product purchased and the time elapsed since purchase.
2. Membership Subscriptions
2.1 Founder Pro Membership (₹999/year)
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase if you haven't utilized premium features (verified badge, investor contact details, priority placement).
- After 7 Days: No refunds, but you can cancel to prevent auto-renewal for the next billing cycle.
- Partial Month Refunds: Not available. Membership remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Feature Usage: If you've contacted investors, received verified badge, or appeared in priority feeds, refund eligibility is void.
2.2 Investor Pro Membership (₹1,499/year)
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Full refund available within 7 days if you haven't accessed pitch decks, contacted founders, or joined investment circles.
- After 7 Days: No refunds available. Cancel anytime to prevent next year's renewal.
- Pro-Rated Refunds: Not offered for annual subscriptions.
- Exclusive Access: Once you've accessed premium content or investor circles, refund is not applicable.
2.3 Verified Badge (₹499/year)
- No Refunds: Verified badges are non-refundable once verification process is completed and badge is issued.
- Verification Failure: Full refund if verification fails due to our inability to verify your credentials.
- Cancellation Before Verification: Full refund available if you cancel before verification is completed.
3. Launch Your Idea Challenge
3.1 Entry Fee
- Before Submission: Full refund available if you haven't submitted your idea yet.
- After Submission: Entry fees are non-refundable once your idea is submitted for evaluation.
- Challenge Cancellation: Full refund if RightHen cancels the challenge for any reason.
- Disqualification: No refund if disqualified due to violation of challenge rules or terms.
3.2 Winner Package
- Winner packages (MVP development, investment support) are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- If the winner is unable to proceed with the project, no monetary compensation will be provided.
- Winner must commence the project within 90 days of winning announcement.
4. Development Services
4.1 MVP Development
- Deposit Refunds: Initial deposit (typically 30-50%) is refundable before project commencement, minus a 10% processing fee.
- After Project Start: Refunds based on work completed, with deduction for hours worked and resources utilized.
- Milestone-Based: Once a milestone is approved and paid, that portion is non-refundable.
- Quality Issues: If deliverables don't meet agreed specifications, we'll revise at no cost or provide partial refund.
4.2 Mentorship & Consulting
- Session Packages: Refundable for unused sessions with 48-hour cancellation notice.
- Missed Sessions: No refund for missed sessions without 24-hour advance notice.
- Quality Guarantee: If unsatisfied with first session, we'll refund that session or provide alternative mentor.
5. Refund Request Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund

6. Cancellations
6.1 Subscription Cancellations
- Anytime Cancellation: Cancel your membership anytime through account settings.
- Access Continuation: You'll retain access until the end of your paid period.
- No Auto-Renewal: Cancellation prevents automatic renewal charges.
- Re-activation: You can reactivate anytime; pricing may vary from original subscription.
6.2 Service Cancellations
- Development Projects: 7-day notice required; charges apply for work completed.
- Mentorship Sessions: 48-hour cancellation notice for full credit.
- Events: Cancellations 14 days before event date receive full refund minus processing fee.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Promotional or discounted memberships obtained through special offers
- Gift memberships or codes once redeemed
- Third-party services or integrations purchased through our platform
- Transaction processing fees
- Services fully rendered or consumed
- Custom work products that meet agreed specifications
- Access to proprietary content, data, or networks already provided
8. Dispute Resolution
If you're unsatisfied with our refund decision:
- Appeal Process: Submit an appeal within 15 days of refund decision with additional supporting information.
- Management Review: Senior management will review disputed cases within 7 business days.
- Final Decision: Management decision is final regarding refund eligibility.
- Alternative Resolution: We may offer service credits, extended access, or alternative solutions in lieu of monetary refunds.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
- Contact First: Please contact us before initiating chargeback with your bank/card issuer.
- Chargeback Consequences: Initiating chargeback may result in immediate account suspension and termination.
- Service Records: We maintain detailed records of services provided and will contest unwarranted chargebacks.
- Chargeback Fees: You may be liable for chargeback processing fees if dispute is resolved in our favor.
10. Special Circumstances
10.1 Technical Issues
- If technical issues prevent you from accessing services for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may be eligible for pro-rated refund or service credit.
- Must report technical issues promptly to qualify for consideration.
10.2 Service Discontinuation
- If RightHen discontinues a service you've paid for, you'll receive pro-rated refund for unused portion.
- 30-day advance notice will be provided for service discontinuations.
10.3 Account Termination
- Voluntary Termination: Subject to standard refund policy.
- Violation of Terms: No refund if account terminated due to terms of service violations.
- Fraud or Abuse: No refund for accounts terminated due to fraudulent activity or platform abuse.
11. Modifications to Refund Policy

- Not affect refund eligibility for purchases made prior to policy changes
- Be communicated via email for material changes affecting existing subscriptions
- Take effect immediately upon posting for new purchases
12. Currency and Payment Processing
- Currency: All amounts listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
- Exchange Rates: For international transactions, refunds subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
- Processing Fees: Third-party payment processing fees (typically 2-3%) are non-refundable.
- Transaction Taxes: Applicable taxes and fees are generally non-refundable.
